M2 Polarized Macrophages
🧬 ln a recent study, exosomes from M2 polarized macrophages (M2-exo) showed promise in treating periodontitis. M2-exo enhanced osteogenic differentiation and reduced inflammation in human periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs). These findings suggest M2-exo could offer a novel approach to managing periodontitis.
