OsseoSeal Xenograft Bovine Powder is a bovine-derived bone substitute processed to remove organic components while preserving the mineral scaffold. Its highly porous structure supports osteoconduction and slow, predictable resorption, making it well-suited for sites requiring long-term volume maintenance.
Distribution limited to the United States.

Xenograft bone substitutes resorb more slowly than allografts — a property that is clinically advantageous in sites where volume stability is the primary goal, such as ridge preservation or sinus augmentation. The slower resorption rate allows more time for host bone ingrowth before the scaffold is lost. This is not a universal advantage: in defects requiring rapid bone turnover, slower resorption can become an obstacle rather than a benefit.
