An affordable and durable negative pressure irrigation system.

Negative Pressure Irrigation (NPI) in endodontics refers to a technique of irrigation where a negative pressure is applied to the root canal to increase the flow of irrigating solution and improve cleaning and debridement of the canal. The aim is to remove debris, bacteria, and infected tissue more effectively and increase the penetration of antimicrobial agents.

Negative Pressure Irrigation (NPI) has experienced a resurgence in recent years in endodontics due to advancements in technology and growing evidence of its effectiveness in improving endodontic outcomes. The use of NPI has been shown to increase the removal of debris and bacteria from the root canal system, enhance the penetration of irrigants, and improve the overall cleaning and shaping of the canal. Additionally, NPI has been associated with improved outcomes in cases of complex anatomy, apical periodontitis, and periradicular disease. As a result, many dentists and endodontists have begun to incorporate NPI into their standard protocols for root canal treatment.
