The WRC Extraoral Aerosol Mobile Suction Unit with UVC disinfection is designed to complement the HVE (High Volume Evacuation) intraoral suction devices used during patient dental treatment. WRC's model TM-D20 Plus aerosol mobile suction unit enhances the capture and disinfection of airborne droplets and aerosols to minimize exposure to infectious agents.
UV or ultraviolet light is a component of the electromagnetic spectrum with a wavelength range of 100 to 400 nm. However UV light can be further subdivided into four separate regions including UVC at a wavelength range of 200 nm to 280 nm. At this range it is absorbed by cellular DNA, RNA and proteins. This absorption can lead to rupture of cells and death of offending microorganisms.
Each WRC TM-D20 Plus unit is mobile (on casters) and features a high-quality flexible positioning intake tube with a nozzle attached to a multi disinfection apparatus that includes a top layer UV disinfection lamp and a subsequent high-efficiency four-layer filtration system. Replacement filters are available. The unit contains a quiet but powerful 300 W brushless motor and is available internationally with 110V - United States., 220V - European Union. and 220V - United Kingdom power configuration variants.

Filters are easily cleaned or changed by simply opening the hinged panel door that stores the stacked filters. Simply pull out the filter and replace:
