Research

Bioceramic materials have demonstrated strong biocompatibility and the ability to form hydroxyapatite at the dentin interface, contributing to sealing and tissue response. Compared to traditional MTA formulations, premixed systems reduce variability while maintaining the biologic advantages associated with calcium silicate cements.

FAQs

Is CeraPutty™ an MTA?
It is not traditional MTA but a calcium silicate–based bioceramic material designed to provide similar biologic performance with improved handling.

How is it different from a sealer like EndoSeal MTA?
CeraPutty™ is a structural repair material with a putty consistency, while sealers are flowable materials used during obturation.

Does it require mixing?
No—CeraPutty™ is premixed and ready to use.

Can it set in moist environments?
Yes, it is hydrophilic and designed to set in the presence of moisture.

Instructions for Use
  1. Isolate and prepare the treatment site
  2. Deliver material directly using the syringe
  3. Adapt gently to the defect or target area
  4. Allow material to set in the presence of moisture
  5. Verify placement radiographically if indicated
